Why should you take the workshop?

Are you a Recruitment Agency, In-house Recruiter or Executive Search Agency and simply do not have time to train new recruits or keep your Recruitment Consultants and Researchers up-to-date? Do you need a refresher? Would you like your Recruitment Consultants to source top talent for your company with the same skill as a Head-hunter? Our lead trainer and MD, Lesley Farrow, is an Independent Search Consultant focused on Executive Search/ Head-hunting since 2003.  Lesley currently runs a desk herself at Farrow Consulting and has her finger on-the-pulse of the Recruitment, Social Recruitment and Executive Search Industries.

Course content:

  • The “spec” – learn why it’s important to get a detailed spec and what information is needed to speed up the search process.
  • Name gathering – including market mapping; being able to identify and target an effective list of potential contacts will ensure the success of the assignment.  Doing it in a timely way is crucial.
  • LinkedIn – searching for candidates on LinkedIn.
  • The Gambit call and getting past the gatekeepers – the next potential obstacle is getting past the PA and receptionist.  Learn how to get through time and time again, no matter the situation.
  • The “head-hunting” call – those first few opening moments on the phone are crucial.  Knowing what you are going to say is vital.  Knowing when to say it is the other half.  Learn the methodology and EQ required to control the process and gain the candidate’s commitment.
  • Overcoming objections and reactions – being able to overcome these responses to the candidate’s satisfaction is key to starting a successful relationship.
  • Recruiting using Social Media tools
