About this job
This position is responsible for joint business development, implementation and maintenance of institutional consultant and client relationships in respect of the post retirement liabilities. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, technical, passionate and self-motivated individual who is able to match the companys capabilities to the needs of specialist consultants, large corporate and institutional clients with defined benefit liabilities.

Duties
  • Develop Relationships with Consultants and Intermediaries. with a view to growing market share in the post-retirement market.
  • Delivering solutions to Corporates and defined benefit funds in order to reduce clients longevity, operational and investment risk.
  • Identify key Consultants, Intermediaries, decision-makers and contact points within those entities.
  • Position the company as a market leading annuities and post retirement solution provider.
  • Develop an integrated strategy and action plan per distribution channel and for specialist consultants.
  • Identify and explore alternative channels for distribution.
  • Take accountability for and drive a distribution sales target.
  • Client retention.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Actuarial or other relevant professional / financial qualification
  • FAIS accreditation an advantage
  • Strong technical post retirement; annuities and liability driven investment experience.
